The Four Foundations of Parish Stability

Peace Through Order Challenge

By this time next year, decisions stop waiting on you, the knowledge that runs the place lives somewhere safe, and meetings earn their time. A year-long cohort builds the four foundations underneath that: clear roles, clear decisions, clear processes, and clear communication, one per quarter, with a live working session every two weeks where the building actually happens.

Enrollment for the October cohort runs August 3 through October 2, 2026.

What goes away

Less on your desk. That's the point.

The fair worry about a program like this: it'll be one more thing to do, landing on the plate that's already full. The Challenge is built against that. The team work runs inside a meeting you already hold. The building happens in a live working session every two weeks, so nothing waits on homework. And the first assignment removes something instead of adding it: one meeting that isn't earning its time, or one task that shouldn't need you, gone in the first two weeks.

Over the year, this is what disappears:

  • The questions that keep returning to your desk.
  • The decisions that wait a month, then get relitigated.
  • The quiet panic when one person is out and a whole function stops.
  • The meetings that fill the week while the real work happens after hours.
Who runs this

You don't run this. You sponsor it.

The Challenge takes its own medicine. At enrollment, every institution names two roles, and neither one carries the whole thing. The time below is honest and covers both the learning and the doing. We'd rather you enroll knowing the real cost than discover it in week three.

The Sponsor

Pastor, president, or head · About 1.5 hours per two-week lesson

Decides, blesses, and protects the rhythm. You attend the working session, settle what only you can settle, and lend the work your authority. The administration doesn't touch your desk.

The Champion

Office manager, principal, or business manager · 4 to 5 hours per two-week lesson

Runs the machinery: the lesson, the workbook, the session prep. This is the person the program equips most, and they finish the year with a skill set the institution keeps.

The Leadership Team

Together · 2 to 3 hours per two-week lesson

Builds the documents side by side in the working session, then applies them in real work. What gets built belongs to the team, not to one desk. Staff and volunteers get a short guide each lesson, about 15 minutes.

The first-quarter promise: complete the first quarter with your team, and if the Challenge isn't giving back more than it costs, tell us and step out. You pay for that quarter only. The rest is refunded or never billed.

The Four Foundations of Parish Stability

Four foundations. One system. Built one quarter at a time.

Stable institutions aren't lucky. They run on four things: clear roles, clear decisions, clear processes, and clear communication. When one is missing, the friction shows up everywhere. The Challenge builds all four, in the order they actually depend on each other.

01

Clear Roles

Module 1 · Role Clarity

When no one's sure who owns what, everything routes to the person at the top, and good people wait. You name who owns every task, meeting, and decision, so work stops piling on one desk. The Role Clarity Toolkit™ covers a piece of this, and it's in the hands of Catholic leaders today.

02

Clear Decisions

Module 2 · Authority & Decision Rights

When every call waits on the pastor or principal, the whole place moves at one person's pace. You leave with a written decision rights charter: who decides what, up to what threshold, and how things escalate when they should.

03

Clear Processes

Module 3 · Process & Knowledge Library

When the knowledge that runs the place lives in a few people's heads, one departure becomes a crisis. You map the work and build a knowledge library that survives a transition and teaches the next person.

04

Clear Communication

Module 4 · Meeting Rhythm & Communication

When meetings drain more than they give and messages never land, coordination falls to whoever chases hardest. You build a meeting rhythm and a communication system so the right people know the right things at the right time.

The entire system is built today, all four foundations. Your cohort receives one each quarter, on purpose. A year-long pace is what keeps the work doable for a busy team.

How the cohort works

Structured. Live. Built around your calendar quarter.

1

A new cohort starts every quarter.

January, April, July, and October. You move through the system alongside other Catholic leaders doing the same work, on the same timeline.

2

A live working session every two weeks.

Not a webinar. Your team brings its draft, we finish it together on the call, and you leave with the piece built. The work happens in the session, alongside other Catholic leaders building the same thing, so nothing rides on homework between meetings.

3

Something comes off your plate in the first two weeks.

The first working session ends with one visible act of relief: a recurring meeting cancelled, or a task moved off the leader's desk with a named owner in writing. You feel the program working before the first month is out.

4

Your progress is tracked, module by module.

You'll know exactly where you stand against the system, not whether you've watched a video.

5

One free 1:1 coaching session every quarter.

A 90-minute private session with Pax Ordo, included with every cohort quarter, scoped to whatever your institution needs most at that point.

Need more than the included session?

Additional 90-minute 1:1 coaching sessions are available at $249 each, or $899 for a quarterly bundle (one extra session every quarter, four per year).

Investment

Two ways to enroll.

Paid in Full

Four payments of $1,250, billed at the start of each quarter. Same access, same coaching, spread across the year. Pay in full for $4,499 and save $500.

One price per institution. Your whole leadership team goes through it together, the pastor, the principal, the business manager, whoever should be in the room. No per-seat fees.

The first-quarter promise. Complete the first quarter with your team. If the Challenge isn't working for your institution, tell us and step out: you pay for that quarter only, and the rest is refunded or never billed.

Before you decide

Common questions.

Honestly: is this one more thing to do?

It's the right question, and the design answers it three ways. The team work runs inside a meeting you already hold. The building happens in the live working sessions, so there's no pile of homework. And the first two weeks remove something from your calendar rather than adding to it. The honest time cost: 4 to 5 hours per two-week lesson for your champion, 2
